Precious Plastic Lab is a part of the ReMakers Project. The ReMakers Project was created by Athens Makerspace and it includes free innovative workshops, open to all refugees and unemployed individuals in Athens. The Precious Plastic Lab is a set of machines specialized in processing plastic waste and turning it into useful products. The participants learn how to distinct and separate different kinds of plastic and how to use this machinery. Through this workshop we aim to increase the environmental awareness and technological upbringing regarding the processing of raw materials, through knowledge sharing. By introducing the benefits and applications of the technology and know-how of the Precious Plastic Lab to the general public we can have a huge social impact.
