It is estimated that today, there are more than 600 homeless unaccompanied children on the streets of Athens. It is precisely for these children who live in fear and insecurity and who do not know how to cope or where to turn for help, METAdrasi created a comprehensive Network for the Protection of Unaccompanied Minors in Homelessness. The operation of the Network began gradually in early February 2020.
The network consists of activities that complement each other in order to offer a total, personalized care and support to each unaccompanied minor:
Homeless Children Support Center “1stop4homeless”
In “1stop4homeless” homeless unaccompanied children in Athens can find personalized legal and psychosocial support as well as a safe place to share their concerns and socialize.
