Neighborhood Nannies

METAdrasi, in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), is launching a new education and training program aimed at facilitating the access of the refugee and immigrant population to the labor market.

The opportunity is offered to refugees, beneficiaries of temporary protection and immigrants – aged 18 and over – to acquire the necessary supplies to be employed in the field of baby and toddler care. In addition, upon successful completion of the training, it is possible to register in the registry of guardians of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, with the aim of employment as guardians/nannies within the framework of the “Neighborhood Nannies” action.

The METAdrasi program provides:

• Vocational specialization courses at a private Vocational Training Institute
• Child protection and care trainings
• Administrative support for registration in the registry of curators of the Ministry of Labour
• Auxiliary Greek courses to improve the level of the language
