ANASA Cultural Center is a non-profit organization that aims at intercultural dialogue between people and the integration and empowerment of young people of African descent, through arts and culture, by promoting African arts such as music, theater, dance, literature, etc. . Through art we can discover the basic forms and processes of the world and give new narratives and new options. The work of art-making reflects what the artist has discovered in his environment and in themselves. It is a tool of education, since it awakens the sensitivity of the young and old, it encourages initiative, it creates long-lasting interests and intense psycho-emotional states, art unites everything that inspires the human being in its relations to nature and its surroundings, gives voice to our inner personality and goes beyond the physical characteristics of existence. Anasa Cultural Center is involved in programs related to Civil Society, Refugees, Second Generation, Environment, Human Rights and Democratic Processes. The tools we use are knowledge exchange, arts and culture, social activism, youth empowerment and community building.

* Anasa Cultural Center sustains itself through its members' annual subscriptions and tuition fees for weekly classes, seminars, events and workshops. At the same time, its core team seeks funding opportunities to provide free activities to all ages, in Athens and beyond. If any organization or active citizen wants to participate and collaborate with us, please contact us, as we do everything we can so that no one is deprived of access to knowledge and personal development.
