Description

  • Counselling is the process that helps people clear their thoughts and feelings, overcome difficulties and learn more about themselves through talk. It helps to set personal goals and provides positive models based on which a person may allow themselves to improve the functionality and quality of their lives. Counselling helps people that don’t suffer from a serious mental disorder, but go through a difficult period or face a problem that they cannot solve on their own.
  • At the Day Centre counselling is provided by midwives and mental health professionals (psychologists or psychiatrists) based on the needs of each person.
