The Medical Mobile Unit is an initiative undertaken by Spanish Red Cross and Hellenic Red Cross to offer Basic Health Care Services, Health Promotion Activities and to facilitate access to other health services to migrants, refugees and local vulnerable population in the urban area of Attica.
Mobile Unit will coordinate with other actors (NGO’s or Greek Public Services) to refer patients to secondary health services for further assessment or treatment.
Mobile Unit will coordinate with Red Cross Accompaniment services to facilitate access to patients to other health services, providing cultural mediators for their appointments.
Team: General Doctor, Nurse and Arabic Interpreter.
Services: Health consultations, emergencies, medicines supply, health promotion activities, referrals to other resources, information point.
