As part of the operation of the Social Service of the Hellenic Council for Refugees, groups of specialized professionals are active, providing counseling and psychosocial support services to asylum seekers and refugees, specifically to the following population groups:
1. Undocumented persons, with an official note, asylum seekers
2. Persons with refugee status (recognized refugees, with subsidiary protection, with humanitarian status)
3. Survivors of torture
4. Survivors of gender violence
5. Survivors of trafficking
6. Unaccompanied minors
7. Vulnerable children and families
8. Persons in custody
9. People who need assistance in matters of civil and criminal law
