New U-Report poll on Climate and COP28

We are happy to launch the new U-Report poll on Climate and COP28.

In line with UNICEF’s upcoming Climate Action Plan and the COP28 Presidency focus on youth skills and education, the U-Report poll focuses on the extent that young people feel prepared to adapt to the impacts of climate change. The results of this poll will directly feed into the global youth consultation and Global Youth Statement for COP28, presenting a unique opportunity for young people’s voices to be heard by world leaders.

The poll is now available through the U-Report Greece platform and will remain open until 31 August 2023.

We invite you to conduct this poll with your beneficiaries and further disseminate among your networks, to engage as many young people as possible.

All young people 14-25 years old can participate to the poll by sending the keyword COP28 through any of the following channels:

  1. Viber, by sending COP28 to the public chat “ureportgreece”.
  2. Facebook Messenger, by sending COP28 to U-Report Greece.
  3. WhatsApp, by texting COP28 at +30 695 548 3316.
  4. Instagram, by sending the message COP28 at ureportgreece

*** Kindly note that the poll also includes a chatbot that users can interact with on a voluntary basis after completing the poll. The chatbot provides guidance on key steps to organize a climate change campaign and take action in their communities. It is available here and can also be launched separately by sending the keyword TERRA on the above-mentioned channels.
