Protection for All Minors: Path to Safety and Stability

Description

The Network for Children’s Rights, in collaboration with INTERSOS HELLAS, is implementing the new program “Protection for All Minors: Path to Safety and Stability.”

This is a targeted initiative designed to equip unaccompanied minors and young adults (aged 18–21), who often live in precarious conditions, with essential skills and guidance to support their smooth transition into the labor market. From March 2025 to January 2026, the project will offer a comprehensive package of services, including personalized employment counseling, ongoing psychosocial support, and non-formal educational activities.

A dedicated team—comprising a social worker, an employment counselor, and an interpreter—will organize weekly sessions tailored to each individual’s professional needs, covering topics such as CV writing, job applications, interview preparation, workplace culture, and soft skills (e.g., communication, teamwork).

In addition, minors and young adults will take part in Greek and English language classes and receive practical job-preparation training through workshops that focus on both soft and hard skills.

Specifically, the services offered will include:

  1. Employment Counseling Sessions
  2. Psychosocial Support Sessions
  3. Non-formal Educational Activities
  4. Skills Development Workshops

The primary aim of the program is to provide a holistic support framework for the well-being of minors so that they can grow, develop, and integrate successfully into society.
