The Teen Network of the Children's Rights Network invites you to the free journalism training workshops of the European program "EFIVOS II"

The Teen Network of the Children’s Rights Network invites teenagers and young people aged 13 – 24 to participate in a series of training workshops on journalism within the framework of the European Program Efivos II.

More specifically, there will be five (5) workshops where participants will be trained in the use of innovative tools, such as social media, photography, video and podcast creation. The aim of the workshops is for the participating individuals to express their views on important issues that concern them in a safe context with the aim of becoming active agents of change themselves, addressed to peers as well as to policy makers.

The themes and dates of the workshops are:

Monday, October 9 | 15:00 – 21:00 – Principles of Journalism

Tuesday, October 10 | 15:00 – 21:00 – Social Media

Wednesday, October 11 | 15:00 – 21:00 – Podcast

Thursday, October 12 | 15:00 – 21:00 – Articles and Interviews

Monday, October 16 | 15:00 – 21:00 – Photography/Video/Journalism

The workshops will be held in English with the possibility of interpretation upon request.

A certificate of participation in a European CERV program will be given.

All workshops will take place at the site of the Teen Network at 189 Konstantinoupoleos Street, Kolonos (near Metaxourgeio metro).

A few words about the European program Efivos II

Efivos II was created to promote the free expression and dissemination of ideas through innovative and modern educational tools such as article production, video and podcast creation. The program aims to empower, learn, self-express, artistic expression, engage citizens, promote their ideas and defend the right to freedom of expression.

The Network for the Rights of the Child (coordinator) implements the program with their partners: Crossing Borders (Denmark), Citizens in Power (Cyprus), Pacto Verde (Spain), HESED (Bulgaria), GEYC (Romania) and COOPDEDALUS (Italy) .
