Art is Our Voice – Η Τέχνη η Φωνή μας

With great pleasure we would like to invite teenagers and young people aged 13 – 24 years to “Art is Our Voice” which starts and proposes 7 experiential actions in 7 different art spaces of Attica.

The conception and implementation of the idea is the result of the collaboration of the Youth Network of the Children’s Rights Network and the performing arts group Synthesis 748.

The purpose of the action is to activate teenagers and young people aged 13-24 in the defense and protection of their rights through their contact with different forms of art in the respective cultural spaces, based on article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (Freedom of Expression and Opinion).

The spaces – helpers of the program are the following: One of the most beautiful museums in Greece, the Museum of Cycladic Art, the National Theater – event hall of the Ziller building, an old carpentry workshop that was transformed into an art center, the H.ug Art space in Petralona, the new Kobrai bookstore in Didotou street, the Children’s Rights Network’s Adolescent Network site, the New World Theater and the Duncan Dance Foundation, the home for dance, on Avra Hill in Byronas.

The 7 art workshops are: Visual Art, Creative writing, Theater workshop, Movement with masks and objects, Body Music, Graffiti – Painting on walls in real time, Draw to perform – Movement with painting.

*Participation in the workshops is free.

**The language of implementation of the workshops is Greek.
