New U-Report poll

The Network for Childrens Rights presents to you the new U-Report poll on “Learning and employability”. The poll seeks to gather responses from adolescents and young people 12-25 years old.

The Network invites you to conduct this poll with your beneficiaries and further disseminate among your networks, to engage as many young people as possible. This U-Report poll is running in approximately 14 countries worldwide and the responses of your beneficiaries will be included in the global analysis.

In order to respond to the poll, your beneficiaries just have to send the keyword JOB through any of the following channels:

  1. Viber, by sending JOB to the public chat “ureportgreece”.
  2. Facebook Messengerby sending JOB to U-Report Greece.
  3. WhatsAppby texting JOB at +30 695 548 3316.

Building on the findings from the UNICEF 2021 Talent on the Move report, this poll will dig deeper into what young people want to bridge the gap from learning to accessing the job market, and highlight their ideas for solutions. It will also look specifically at the gender implications for learning to earning focusing on adolescent girls and young women. The goal of this work is to expand access to flexible, inclusive pathways to help youth learn and gain the necessary skills to pursue their aspirations and reach their full potential, working in partnership with young people themselves.

U-Report is a global UNICEF platform aiming to empower adolescents and youth to speak out on issues that matter to them and encourage their participation in democratic processes. U-Report is present in 91 countries around the world, with more than 24 million active users. In Greece, U-Report was launched in April 2022 and it is available in English, French, Greek, Urdu, Farsi and Arabic, to allow as many young people as possible to access, participate and express their views.
