We are delighted to invite you to the open event of the European CARE PROJECT, focusing on the primary prevention of gender-based violence through community-based approaches in Greece and Italy.

The event will feature speakers from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Hellas and Italy, Caritas Hellas, Global Girl Media Greece, and Centro Penc. They will share the outcomes of the CARE PROJECT in Greece and Italy, emphasising the importance of community involvement in addressing gender-based violence.
Highlights of the evening will include screenings of 3 short, impactful documentaries on gender-based violence, created by women participants from both countries. After the film, there will be a Q&A session moderated by the creators of the film. There will also be a panel discussion with community members – GBV Focal Points trained during the CARE PROJECT, who will share their experience and insights on the significance of tackling gender-based violence through a community-centred approach.
