U-Report is a global UNICEF-led platform aiming to empower adolescents and young people to express their views on issues that matter to them and to encourage their democratic participation. The platform operates in 92 countries across the world, with more than 27 million active users. U-Report Greece targets adolescents and youth 12-25 years old living in Greece – including refugees and migrants, Roma, youth with disabilities, and youth living in remote areas – aiming to amplify their voices in policy-making processes. Through the platform, U-Reporters can participate in monthly polls and make their voices heard about different social and political issues. There are also two chatbots available through U-Report, providing tips and advice about mental health and COVID-19 vaccination.
U-Report Greece is free and anonymous, and it is available in Greek, English, French, Arabic, Farsi and Urdu languages. It does not require the download of any new application, as it can be accessed through social media platforms already used by youth in Greece.
