Offer & Receive support easily and quickly with the ACCMR platform

Do you wish to receive or offer support and want the information to be shared as much as possible?  

The platform of the Athens Coordination Center for Migrant and Refugee issues – ACCMR* has been upgraded and offers the possibility for both stakeholders and active citizens to participate in a dynamic support network.

The members of the platform can send requests for material support, such as food, clothes, school supplies, etc. or for volunteering to more than 100 civil society stakeholders, private sector stakeholders, international organizations, public bodies and active citizens in order to receive assistance in areas of need. Also, stakeholders and individuals can inform the ACCMR network about the kind of support they can offer to other stakeholders.

Are you a citizen who wants to help?

All active citizens who are interested in contributing to the support of our valuable fellow citizens can register as INDIVIDUALS on the platform.

How can you become a part of this great support chain?

  • If you are not a member of the ACCMR platform:
  1. Register by clicking here as an ORGANIZATION OR INDIVIDUAL. 
  2. During your registration, fill in YES to the question if you wish to receive messages from the members of the ACCMR platform requesting or offering support (in kind, expertise, volunteers, space, etc.).

From now on, you will receive automated email messages when a stakeholder needs support or when an individual or stakeholder sends a message offering support.

  1. And…Don’t forget to upload your messages for demand (this only concerns stakeholders) or offer for support (this concerns individuals as well as stakeholders) on the special page of Support!
  • If you are already a member of the ACCMR platform:
  1. Make sure you select YES in your profile when asked if you wish to receive messages from ACCMR platform members requesting or offering support (in kind, expertise, volunteers, space, etc.).

From now on, you will receive automated email messages when an stakeholder needs support or when an individual or stakeholder sends a message offering support.

  1. And…Don’t forget to upload your messages for demand (this only concerns stakeholders) or offer for support (this concerns individuals as well as stakeholders) on the special page of Support!

The ones who wish, can join the platform as individuals and share messages offering support.

* Since April 2020, the International Organization for Migration and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees have been jointly supporting ACCMR on the basis of a trilateral cooperation with the City of Athens.
