The Office of the European Parliament in Greece, Symbiosis School of Political Studies of the Council of Europe in Greece and Inside Story invite young journalists to apply to the European Parliament Young European Journalists Training Program in Greece 2023-2024. This program is an important training opportunity and aims to raise awareness and develop the skills of young journalists working for EU-based media in 17 EU countries on European affairs in general and issues related to the European Parliament in particular.
Journalists from all media types (print, TV, radio, online) are welcome to apply, as well as other media professionals such as content creators, media managers and data specialists.
The program consists of a three-day training program in Athens, 27-29 November 2023 and an additional two-day training program in the spring of 2024 in Brussels together with participants from 16 other countries for 4 selected outstanding participants from the Athens module. In addition, selected journalists will participate in the Council of Europe’s 2024 World Forum for Democracy taking place in Strasbourg, have the opportunity to be invited to a plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and observe and discuss the editorial process with the team of Inside Story.
