Refugee Women Academy, the new action implemented under Piraeus Bank’s EQUALL programme in strategic partnership with Odyssea, is addressed to vulnerable refugee women and focuses on their vocational training in tourism professions aiming to assist their integration into the labour market. The Refugee Women Academy is an initiative of Piraeus Bank, in close collaboration with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in Greece. Conditions for participation Eligible to participate in the Refugee Women Academy programme are women who are refugees/asylum seekers, reside in the Attica region and have a basic knowledge of the greek language. For applicants who do not speak greek, Refugee Women Academy, under EQUALL programme, offers a three-month supplementary Greek language course, focusing on the necessary vocabulary to work in the tourism sector.
