Challenges in accessing legal residence status and citizenship

We are waiting for you at the event “Challenges in accessing legal residence status and citizenship”, which will take place on Friday 24/11/2023, at 3.30-5.30pm, at Shedia’s cafe (Shedia Home, Kolokotroni 56, Athens).

The event concerns the assessment of the action of legal counseling for people of immigrant origin, who live in the City of Athens and aims to highlight the legal and institutional obstacles to the acquisition of legal residence status, the acquisition of citizenship, as well as access to other social rights.

The presentation of the action and its results will be carried out by Ismini Kefala, Advocacy & Legal Coordinator and Maritina Dimitreli, Legal Advisor of Generation 2.0 for Rights, Equality & Diversity. The speech will be given to beneficiaries of the action, who through their personal stories will highlight the effects of legal and institutional gaps in their daily lives.
