ELIX- Voluntary Work Programs

ELIX in cooperation with the Councile of Europe Youth Department within the Youth for Democracy programme will implement the Compass National Training Course “Rights in Our Languages!” in Athens, 2 -6 September 2024.
The aim of this 5-day training course is to familiarize participants with the concepts, goals and methods of Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education (EDC/HRE) through their experiential acquaintance with the educational tools of the Council of Europe, having the Compass educational manual as a main point of reference. Emphasis will be placed in the acquisition of competences that will allow participants to systematically propote and support actions oriented towards human rights education and democratic participation in intercultural educational environments, in the context of an inclusive educational culture.
