Psychosocial support for people temporarily displaced by the war in Ukraine

Convinced that sufficient experience has now been accumulated from working in the field, Babel Day Centre together with the organisations SOS Children’s Villages, Melissa Network of Migrant Women in Greece, Greek Council for Refugees, HIAS Greece and the United Ukrainian Diaspora are organising a workshop on “Psychosocial support for temporarily displaced persons
because of the war in Ukraine”

The workshop, which will be held in English & Greek, is addressed to professionals and volunteers who work in the field and support people from Ukraine. Up to 25 persons will be admitted, representing as many experiences as possible. The aim of the workshop is the exchange and sharing of experiences, findings, and lessons learned from the work in the field, the transmission of know-how and the drawing of conclusions regarding the characteristics of this experience.

The purpose of this action is to identify, disseminate and utilise good practices, assess needs (in coordination and cooperation, training and support of staff, etc.) and search for ways to cover them.
The workshop will take place on November 1st, between 09:30-15:30 in Athens, at the premises of the Greek Council for Refugees (25, Solomou st, Athens).

To register you can send an email to: [email protected] until the afternoon of October 27th.
In the message (with the subject: MHPSS Workshop Ukraine) you should include your name, profession/role, and organisation in which you work.
