The purpose of this handbook is to provide lawyers, social workers, health professionals, M.K.O. and other factors, a general information about the types of residence permits and the protection system for the benefit of vulnerable immigrants, as they were recently introduced and modified in the Greek legislation.
Law 4251/2014 introduced a series of provisions, concerning for the first time specific vulnerable groups (e.g. victims of trafficking, victims of domestic violence and exploitation, dependent migrants and unaccompanied minors), to which it provides ad hoc assistance and assistance.
