Echo is a mobile library delivering books in mother tongue languages, language learning resources and educational activities to camps and community centres around Athens.
We loan books for one week, and currently stock books in Arabic, Farsi, Kurmanji, Turkish, French, English and Greek. We also give out language learning resources from mother tongue languages to English or Greek and attempt to fulfil other requests made.
All you need to access a book from us is yourself! Come and find us at one of our city locations and you may take a book, all we need is your name and contact details. Language learning resources we give out for free, no name needed.
On Wednesdays, we are in the city centre, our schedule and additional services are as follows:
5th School 12pm – 1pm
Velos Youth Centre 1.30 – 2pm
Victoria Sqaure Project 2pm – 4pm *with English and Greek language practice*
