Description

In 2019, SolidarityNow worked with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to design and implement a large-scale integration program for recognized refugees that started in June 2019. The project offers Greek language courses, a housing allowance and support for access to the labor market.

SolidarityNow is responsible for the operation of three Integration Training Centers (ILC) in Athens, Thessaloniki and Ioannina, where an “Integration Program” is provided to refugees recognized after January 2017, with the aim of supporting them with Greek language and skills.

SolidarityNow is one of the partners responsible for the educational component of the Greek language and soft skills courses – aiming to give individuals the knowledge and skills needed to live in Greece. The first courses with HELIOS beneficiaries started in December 2019 in Athens, while in Ioannina and Thessaloniki the courses started in February and June 2020 respectively.
