A few words about the project:

The European program aims to exchange and transfer knowledge, experiences and best practices related to integration between 9 UnionMigrantNet (UMN) members and 8 local authorities from five EU countries, namely Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Slovenia. The project started in October 2019 and will be completed in May 2022.

Building on the already existing ETUC (European Trade Unions Confederation) European network of trade union organizations providing services to third country nationals at EU level, the project strengthens, updates and improves the network by promoting collaborations with local authorities, specifically local authorities responsible for the reception and integration of third-country nationals. The specific weight of the specific program concerns the integration of citizens of third countries into the labor market. From Greece, other partners participating in the project are the Migrant Structure of the Athens Labor Center and the NGO Generation 2.0.
