📣Global Girl Media Greece  announces the 2nd #MEDIA training workshop for young women (ages 16-30) in Athens between the 20tht-28th of March at the ACCMR

AthensAgapeProject is a multimedia project which will investigate, explore and reframe the current crisis of Gender Based Violence (#GBV) in the city and cyberspace.

#AGAPE is a Greek word that means love. This creative project will gather the community to collectively envision the safe and feminist future of our city, and provide an actionable tool for all to share.

This project is funded by the UNHCR Refugee-Led Innovation Fund.

Are you interested in creating stories using mobile devices?

In this workshop, you will learn core skills in photography, video and audio, and new techniques for multimedia journalism.

You will produce engaging multimedia about Gender-Based Violence  (GBV) using the latest mobile media tools.

Your phone is able to shoot amazing high-definition video, act as a basic editing suite, apply professional-looking finishes and then instantly distribute the material around the globe.

What you will learn in the 5-day workshop :

• Best practices for producing, shooting, and editing video on your phone
• How to develop an audiovisual story
• Interviewing techniques
• Latest mobile media tools ( Gimbals)
• Tips for choosing video locations and how to optimise light and audio
• Editing techniques
• The secrets to creating a video that resonates with a mobile audience
• Female gaze in the media
• Gender-Based Violence(GBV) in the media
