Competition: “Greening the Grey”

“Greening the Grey”: An initiative of the City of Athens, in collaboration with the Organization Earth, with the support of Gardena and Betsson.

The ‘Greening the Gray’ competition is an initiative that encourages the residents of Athens to bring nature into their homes and neighborhoods, turning balconies, yards and other open spaces into green corners. Participants have the opportunity to win prizes, while contributing to a more sustainable and beautiful city.

1st Prize: Gifts worth €800 from Gardena and tasting dinner for 2 at selected fine dining restaurants in Athens from Betsson

2nd Prize: Gifts worth €500 from Gardena and tasting dinner for 2 at selected fine dining restaurants in Athens from Betsson

3rd Prize: Gifts worth €250 from Gardena and tasting dinner for 2 at selected fine dining restaurants in Athens from Betsson

The next 10 best entries will each receive gifts worth 90 EUROS from Gardena

 

Enter the competition that transforms Athens HERE, bringing nature to your balcony, yard or roof! Upload photos of your “green corner” from April 10 to May 10 and win special gifts from Gardena and Betsson.

Participant details will only be used for the competition. The best entries will be selected through online voting, which will run from May 10 to May 25, on this website.

Representatives of the City of Athens and Organization Earth will visit the top nominations to confirm the validity of the participations. The award will take place at a special ceremony on June 5, World Environment Day. The winners will receive an honorary award as well as gifts from the sponsors of the action.
