The Community of Burundi in Greece was founded in Athens in 2016 by the political refugee Josephine Ngentakumana, who is also the president of the community.
The goal of the community is the integration into Greek society and the solidarity for the refugees and immigrants of Burundi living in Greece, offering social services, such as mental health support, sports activities, Greek lessons, etc.
