Following December 2024 developments in Syria and acknowledging recent events, UNHCR is conducting research with Syrians who sought asylum in Europe to better understand their current situation and future plans. Deciding whether to stay or return to Syria can be challenging, and circumstances may change over time.
Through this survey, UNHCR aims to understand thoughts and concerns of Syrians in Europe, to help advocate for the right support regardless of their decision. Their voice matters.
The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. All responses are strictly confidential, and no individual will be identifiable in the published results. Participation is entirely voluntary and will not affect in any way individual asylum cases.
