Center for Creative Employment of Children from the Network for the Rights of the Child
The Network in Treiber an interdisciplinary designed Center for Creative Employment of Children (KDAP). It has been operating since 2016 in the center of Athens, in Triber Square, by the Network for the Rights of the Child, the organization created to protect the rights of all children as provided by the UN Convention on Human Rights (1989).
It succeeds in contributing to the equal access of low-income beneficiary women to work and at the same time focuses on the child and his need for multifaceted development. The program provides children with opportunities for both entertainment and participation in cultural life, as well as the opportunity to cultivate their individual and social skills.
More specifically, it is aimed at children aged 5 to 12 years, while a total of about 30 children participate annually having the opportunity to attend a program of creative, educational and recreational activities that each year is enriched by new contemporary trends in the fields of art and science (e.g. x. Open Studio, Origami, Visual Arts, Experiments, STEM etc.).
