The lack of effective communication with third country nationals, due to the lack of interpretation services, has been pinpointed as one of the main problems in the reception and integration of refugees and immigrants in Greece. In an effort to tackle this problem and relying on its own resources, METAdrasi created an integrated system, aiming at the provision of quality interpretation services, which includes: ● Τraining material developed on the basis of international standards and regularly updated language tools for interpreters specializing in asylum procedures ● Τraining and certification of interpreters as well as supervision, evaluation and regular reassessment ● Use of a Teleconference System
