Περιγραφή

The Pathway is a free 8 months online programme for uprooted women wishing to learn about the tech & digital sectors in Greece. The sessions will take place every Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., participants will attend collective sessions online. Throughout the programme, the participants will also be individually accompanied by a volunteer tech & digital professional with whom to discuss to practice their professional English. Sistech can also provide logistical support (computer equipment and babysitting), if necessary, in order to give everyone the best chance of success.

Programme’s goals

  • Learn to use basic professional digital tools: Emails, videoconference, collaborative work tools, LinkedIn and job search
  • Understand the local job market: The different contracts, uses and know-how at work
  • Discover the tech and digital world: jobs that recruit, diversity and inclusion in tech

Selection’s criteria

  • Identify as female
  • Being an asylum seeker, benefiting from international protection (refugee, subsidiary protection, etc.) directly or through their family
  • Living in Greece
  • Being older than 18
  • Be available on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Have a minimum A2 level in English
