The Organization of Open Technologies (EELLAK) was founded in 2008. Today, it consists of 36 Universities, Research Centers and Public Benefit Organizations.
The Open Society Organization's main objective is to contribute to openness, and in particular to the promotion and development of Free Software, Open Content, Open Data and Open Architecture in the fields of education, public sector, business and social economy in Greece. Ath the same time EELLAK aims to become a platform for knowledge and dialogue on open technologies.
Among the organizations participating in EELLAK are most of the Greek Universities and Research Centers. For the implementation of its actions,EELLAK counts on the collaboration and active participation of its members and on the Greek community of users and creators of Free Software, Open Content and Open Architecture Technologies.
