Methoria, Last Rights project

The Last Rights Project, coordinated by the charity Methoria, is a global project which promotes the rights of bereaved missing and deceased migrants and calls on States and their agencies to act in accordance with well-established international human rights norms in establishing good practice in this regard. T

The Last Rights project provides legal services including free legal advice and consultation to affected migrants, legal representatives, communities, NGOs, international organisations, policymakers, judges, States and other stakeholders regarding the international obligations owed to dead and missing migrants and their bereaved family members.

The Last Rights projects conducts research, and engages in advocacy for the dignified treatment of the missing and deceased migrants and for respect of the rights of the bereaved family members.
