Refugee Children at the Greek School: Bodies and Tools for the support of the school community The event will be held in Greek.  When: Friday 1st December 14:00 – 18:00 Where: Spiritual Center of the City of Athens (50 Akadimias, Athens) – Antonis Tritsis Hall The Athens Coordination Center for Migrant and Refugee issues (ACCMR) and the Migrant Integration Center of the City of Athens (MIC) ** invite you to an information and networking meeting that will take place on Friday, December 1, 14:00 – 18:00 at the Spiritual Center of the City of Athens. Recognizing the importance of integrating children with a refugee/migrant background into school reality, and the challenges faced by the school community as well as the children’s families, the aim of the event is to inform about the supporting framework that exists from the Central Administration, the Municipalities and Civil Society to strengthen the smooth integration process of refugee/immigrant children in the Greek school. The event is addressed to Primary and Secondary Education teachers of the schools of Attica, social workers and psychologists of general, special schools and KEDASY, Education Consultants, as well as professionals who work in multiple fields of application of Intercultural Education. The aim is for this event to become an occasion for getting to know each other and for the essential interconnection of all involved bodies. A certificate of attendance will be provided.
