In this course, you will learn about how you can play a role in bringing positive change in your community through a better understanding of economic systems and choices. You will study how you can use resources, make choices, navigate scarcity and make use of opportunities. You will also explore how people make ethical decisions individually, within families and communities, and also in larger contexts. You will develop your understanding of both larger issues that you might come across in any context such as equality and participation, and of ways in which you can ensure participation and agency within your community to promote peace and positive change. These skills will be explored through the following themes:
