This March, the Bahar team, with strong flavors in its luggage, invites people of all ages and nationalities to continue the journey of discovery and knowledge through cooking and tasting. Third stop: Philippines and Georgia!

The event is supported by Athens Book Capital 2018 City of Athens, of which major donor is Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Cooks from migrant communities will share traditional dishes from their own countries, and participants from other nationalities will have the chance to write down/record the recipe in their own language – the ingredients, the preparation and cooking process, even the food styling! A Greek food will also be prepared for everyone to get to know it and write down the recipe! Then, a feast will take place, with music and dancing, where everyone will share food and their personal stories about loved recipes and flavours.

The event is organized in collaboration with ActionAid Hellas, Melissa Network of Migrant Women in Greece, Almasar, Kypseli Municipal Market, Citizens Group 'Our Kypseli', Georgian House of Athens, Friendship Club of Kios street, under the auspices of Migrant Integration Council.
