The International Rescue Committee (IRC Hellas) in partnership with Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece, and the support of Citi through the Citi Foundation is launching a new business training and coaching program. The program is part of the IRC’s Rescuing Futures Program, which is supported by the Citi Foundation’s Pathways to Progress Initiative.
You will get the opportunity to explore and identify your strengths, learn how to transform your idea into a viable business, develop skills necessary for any job and network with a diverse group of people. The program includes both one-on-one support and a training course. Four cycles will be held until June 2020.
If you successfully complete the program you will receive a certificate of attendance.
A few eligible participants will be get connected with a personal coach and benefit from personalized technical support and little start-up funding.

Start Date: 11 November 2019
Class Timings: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10:00 – 12:00
Duration: Training: 4 weeks, 20 hours: 6 hours per week, coaching: 3 hours per person at yours and your coaches’ availability
Language: in English with Farsi interpretation
Location: Athens

The course is designed for young people who are committed, have a passion for learning and working with others and would like to develop their own business idea or support others develop their own.
You can apply for this cycle you are:
-Living in Athens, Greece. Between 18 and 35 years old.
-A refugee, asylum seeker, migrant with residence permit, or unemployed Greek.
*If you are an asylum seeker you can only participate in the training part of the program. To receive personalized support and eventually be selected as a finalist, you must have the legal right to own a business in Greece.
-Drive and ambition to start a business, or drive and ambition in general!
-Committed to attend the program and fulfill its requirements for its duration
-Speak English and/or Farsi
