The International Rescue Committee (IRC Hellas) with the support of Webhelp through the Think Human Foundation is offering a basic computer skills and digital literacy training. The training is aimed at people with little or no computer skills and will focus on enabling participants to become digitally independent in everyday life and to use the internet in their job search.

Trainings will be held twice a week for 4-5 weeks at the IRC office in Athens, in English, French, Farsi, Arabic or Greek according to demand. Mutliple training cycles will be held until May 2022. 

All participants that complete the program will receive a certificate of attendance and a mobile top-up.


You can apply for this training if you are:

  • 16 years and over
  • Speak Greek, English, French, Farsi or Arabic
  • Committed to attend the program and fulfill its requirements for its duration
  • Have a valid vaccination certificate, Covid recovery certificate or are willing to conduct a rapid test

Application and referral process

If you wish to apply for this program, please fill out the Expression of Interest Form. The first training cycle is expected to start on January 24, 2022. The IRC Team will reach out to you to register you based on availability.  Places are limited and registrations will proceed on a first-come first-served basis. A screening interview is part of the process.
